Mechanics for Mutts a Success!

On October 19, 2020, Dave Harvath and his team at D&D Auto in Stevens Point, WI, hosted the 4th Annual Mechanics for Mutts event. Dave, on behalf of D&D Auto and other participating NAPA Auto Care Centers, was proud to present a check to the Portage County Humane Society in the amount of $5644.45.

Each participating shop was give the option of donating proceeds from oil changes performend on the day of the event, or a percentage of sales during the event. The money raised from the event was presented to the Portage County Humane Society, whose mission is to prevent animal cruelty, abuse, neglect, and overpopulation, while looking for forever families for these companion animals.

The annual Mechanics for Mutts event is the brainchild of Dave as a way to give back to the communicty he has called home, and that has supported his business for over 30 years. Thank you to everyone for helping benefit this worthy cause, and making this event a success!
